It started back about a year and a half ago when NBC announced that a new TV show starring Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman was in the works. But then they revealed her costume...it was horrible. It looked like a cheap Halloween costume. I wanted to do the character justice and give her a costume that both looked good and yet was loyal to the original. The only other notable live action version of the character was the Lynda Carter show from the 70's. And although we all love Lynda as Wonder Woman it was very cheesy and campy.
I was also inspired by this poster portraying Megan Fox as Wonder Woman: [link] . The poster got some attention a few years back and even though the creator obviously had some decent photoshop skills, the costume looked pretty fake. The arrogant artist in me came out and said "pshhhh, I can do better than that." Man he can be a jerk sometimes...
I've always loved doing Photoshop collages, there's something about the challenge of taking multiple photos and trying to make them all look like one cohesive image that i just really enjoy. Anyway so I did my own version of a Wonder Woman poster. Then moved on to Aquaman and the original golden age version of the Flash. The idea was to do "real" versions superheros who haven't been done well in live action or not at all. But I realized that my Wonder Woman was gaining much more attention than the others. So I figured why not do more, and I did another, and another and another. I started to really enjoy experimenting with new techniques of creating the costume and honing in on what I thought looked good and what didn't. I was also really motivated by all the positive feedback I was receiving.
Now its gotten to the point that whenever I come across a stock image of a woman online, I cant help but think to myself "Can I turn her into Wonder Woman?". Its some sort of metal illness I'm pretty sure.

But I am happy to see we have more things in common.
I started to love HQ with Batman. I like this hero because he is SMART, not so strong but... he is HUMAN. He is a trained men. He is like a BETTER Cop, a person who lives to battle with the evil.
I like your pictures. Specially Wonder Woman ones.
No, I have never read a HQ about Wonder Woman. I don't know very much about her.
But..
In this world, I think she is inspiration for a lot of Women (real ones) that go to the GYM, school, help in house, etc. They are real Wonder Women.
She is a way that GIRLS can see to the world: HEY, we are heros, too. Not only MEN.
About the Wonder Women uniform: I did not like them, too.
I like a Sexy Wonder Woman.
Fox is not for me the BEST option to be the Wonder Woman.
If I could suggest you one FACE for your next work to Wonder Woman, take a look in this Girl + Shape:

Wonder Woman is strong and sexy and the same time. Not a weak girl that have never trained anything in the gym (or almost not).
Just a suggestion.
I hope you don't mind.
Cheryl Rosenberger is nice, but her upper body is a bit too thick and muscular for me. Also not a fan of her fake boobs.
I like her fake boobs...ahaahaha.
About Megan Fox, I saw one picture here in deviantArt, for this I wrote her name. She is a pretty girl, but she is far away of the Wonder Woman's body. My opinion.
I see heroes like people who need Muscle to combat the evil. It is not possible to imagine that a weak girl can be a hero.
This is not a critic of your work. Just my opinion in general.
I'd like, if possible, to give you suggestion in your next works, if you allow me.
I am sure you are a busy person.
Have a nice week!
